About Me

Work from anywhere, homeschooling father of six wonderful children, husband to the amazing Susan.  Most importantly, a child of the Father, created in His own image (as we all are).  I grew up in Raleigh NC where I enjoyed playing saxophone in the orchestra and jazz band, and competitive swimming, among other high school sports.  After graduating from The Citadel, I entered the US Air Force (initially as a food service officer), and soon thereafter became a pilot.  I flew C-130s in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere but after 10 years, decided to separate from the Air Force and try entrepreneurial ventures.  I’ve more failures to my name than successes, but that’s changing.

In spite of the roller coaster ride of business development, my family has managed to travel extensively and we have lived long term in Costa Rica, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.  Additionally, we traveled within the UK, France and Spain.  I have grown and sold a successful business and am currently developing two more.  My entrepreneurial pursuits have been paused twice in the past 10 years to manage defense training programs to the Afghan Air Force with a large American defense contractor.  I’m deeply spiritual and take matters of faith very seriously, and try to be non-judgemental of others regarding their spiritual and faith based convictions.  I love giving to ministries and charities, and helping others through friendship and leadership.
